Meet Lynne!

As the United States Pickleball Association Ambassador (USAPA) for Baltimore County, Lynne is a passionate pickleball player and teacher.   Her love of the sport grew since 2005 when,  as a Baltimore County Public School teacher, she taught the sport to her middle-school students.  Playing pickleball came naturally to Lynne, building on her career as a professional racquetball player. Proud to play on the United States National Team, she was ranked third in the world.

Today, Lynne is a Certified International Professional Teaching Professional (IPTPA) and has her Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certification.  Lynne is the Pickleball Director at Coppermine Racquet and Fitness and the Pickleball Pro at Woodholme Country Club in Pikesville.  She enjoys tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball, and competes at a 4.5 level.  She has a solid reputation in Baltimore and the surrounding region, known for her skill, enthusiasm, and patience.  Most of all, she enjoys spreading her love of the sport to others through lessons, clinics, and pickleball parties for all ages.

Testimonials
  • “I wasn't sure if I would do well at pickleball, since I was such an avid tennis player.  I took one of Lynne's clinics, learned the rules, and love pickleball just as much -- if not more -- than tennis!"       – Miranda H.

  • “My family and I took pickleball lessons as a way to get exercise and have fun together.  Lynne's enthusiasm was contagious, and she was extremely patient with my sons."             - Steve B.

  • "As a senior citizen, tennis became too strenuous for me.  I was thrilled when my club introduced Lynne and the sport of pickleball."            - Sophie L.
